A Milestone Moment!
At the beginning of this month we marked an exciting milestone: POSEIDON’s first training event was hosted at the University of Twente, in the Netherlands! 🇳🇱
For the first time, our Doctoral Candidates (DCs) and Principal Investigators (PIs) met in person to exchange ideas, align project goals, and dive deep into our shared mission.
The program was packed with insightful sessions:
- Mid-term check with our Project Officer, Thomas Vyzikas from European Research Executive Agency (REA)
- DCs’ 5-minute pitch presentations showcasing their incredible projects and aspirations.
- Engaging lectures from Nallathamby Sivasithamparam (Siva) and Finn Løvholt on Offshore (Wind) Energy Infrastructures and Submarine Landslides, and from Stefan Luding on Granular Flow.
- An interactive storytelling session with Jan Beerens, helping our DCs refine how they communicate their research.
This is just the beginning, and we are excited for what’s ahead!
